Domain Names FAQ

After your domain expires you will have 30 days to renew it at the normal renewal pricing. Once it is past the initial 30 days you will have 90 days to renew it at a greatly increase rate. If after 90 days you fail to renew the domain it will go through a period of resetting where nobody is able to register the domain. After the domain is reprocessed it will go back up for registration (this process can take months, so if you want your domain we do not suggest to wait for this).

Yes, of course you can! You can use Cut All The Shit as your registrar even if you don’t have any website hosting anywhere. We’d love for you to try out our hosting though 😉

A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country, a sovereign state, or a dependent territory. All ASCII ccTLD identifiers are two letters long, and all two-letter top-level domains are ccTLDs.

A registrar is only allowed to deny a transfer request for a small list of reasons. Please ask them for a reason as to why they’re denying the transfer and let us know so we can suggest what your next step should be.

We have common TLDs listed on our site but definitely can manually register any type of TLD that you’re looking to purchase. If you don’t see a TLD on our site that you’re interested in registering then shoot us a message and we’ll check into it!
